| New Treatment for Canine Osteoarthritis
In December of 2008 our doctors were chosen to perform a 90-day clinical trial on approximately 15 patients for the treatment of canine osteoarthritis. The study involved a simple, non-invasive injection of biogel into the arthritic joint, resulting in natural physiological tissue repair. Only a mild anesthetic is required for the procedure. The results from the study have been so encouraging that biogel is now commercially available through AMSC. This treatment is especially recommended as an alternative to surgery for older dogs who are suffering from osteoarthritis. Please schedule an appointment to determine if your dog is a candidate for this treatment. Office: 480-502-4400
